The new boundaries of Men’s Knitwear.
Vittorio Branchizio is the winner of the last edition of “Who’s on Next?” Man 2015, the project of scouting for young talents promoted by Fondazione Pitti Discovery in collaboration with Altaroma and L’Uomo Vogue. Founded in 2014, the Italian brand has established itself as a young pioneer in the world of men’s knitwear, redefining the boundaries of style experimentation. His first collection, spring-summer 2015, was widely acknowledged as a concentrate of passion, beauty and technology.
Entirely designed and Made in Italy, the new Fall-Winter 2015-16 collection is inspired by geometrical shapes, in particular polyhedrons, and a reinterpretation of their influences across the ages. Starting from Archimedean solids, Luca Pacioli’s divine proportions and the epiphanies of Giovanni da Verona, up to Escher and Adriano Graziotti – the F/W 2015 collection reworks the subtle line between freedom and rules, with an outstanding result.
The geometrical shapes are brought to life on threads with different weights and precious fabrics such as silk, finished cashmere and double merino wool filled with eco hypoallergenic, ecological material.
