The idea behind “10 x 10 An Italian Theory”; the concept book on Italian style by Alessandro Enriquez that collects 10 “celebrity kitchen stories” on Italian heritage, memories, lifestyles and tastes, combines with the creations of the fashion talent Azzurra Gronchi in a fabulous wedding of colors, creativity and design. The result is a capsule collection of 5 limited edition handbag models and 4 revisted second-hand chairs, presented during the Milan Design Week 2013 at N°30 boutique in Via della Spiga.

Crafting an inspiring handmade project, the author and the young designer match together unexpected irony with the typical shapes of Azzurra Gronchi designs. The exclusive leather manufacturing is treated to be completely resistant and represents the taste of craftsmanship, while the lively eye-catching graphics express Alessandro Enriquez’s own vision of an Italian Theory: a shower of lucky charms, ladybirds, four-leafed clovers, horseshoes and sacred hearts. The capsule collection of these 50 limited edition pieces can be found in a small selection of prestigious Italian stores, but “Desiderio”, “Burlesque”, “Doris”, “Ginny” and “Design Bag” are just a quick preview of what’s to come in the S/S2014 collection.
