Fashion newbie, Ivories, is at its second collection but the brand philosophy remains unchanged: “no season” garments that can live all year round. The brand’s evolution lies in items that have the power to catch the eye as well as win the title of maximum wearability and versatility.

Defined volumes soften and dress up the Ivories woman in fluid shapes, mixing knitwear with fabric and bias cuts to produce feminine silhouettes that are never excessive. Clean, elegant lines go hand in hand with silk and cotton for a casual attire inspired by the worlds of sportswear and denim.

A high injection of allure is given by top quality raw materials such as indigo linen as well as by knitted trim inserts, grosgrain ribbons and small precious details that marry silk items and luxury mercerised cotton jumpers. Upbeat jersey t-shirts enriched by the key themes of the collection recall American graphic art, whilst more references to contemporary art persist in the cotton jacquards creations.

With a strong street style influence, the SS15 Ivories collection exhibits an orchestra of overlapping and contrasting effects: flowing yet structured volumes, geometric and flowered prints and textile designs, sporty and couture materials and finishes such as the ones found in the heavy cotton jersey enhanced by feather applications.

The colours too create contrasting ensembles with neutral natural tints and whites meeting the trademark blues of the brand, and strawberry shades with brilliant greens exposing patches of orange pink.
